Tamper-proof audit trail
Every record is appended to an immutable ledger. Each entry is cryptographically linked to the one before it — if any past record is altered, the chain breaks and the tampering is instantly detectable. Records are independently verified by a third-party timestamp authority.

Applicators record
Operators log spray operations from the mobile app — activity type, field, application details, and timestamps captured in seconds. Records are stored locally and queued for sync. Works offline in dead zones.
Records sync to the ledger
When connected, records are pushed to the backend. Each record is cryptographically linked to the previous entry, forming a tamper-proof chain. Duplicate submissions are automatically detected and prevented.
Managers verify
A separate authorized user reviews and approves each operation. Self-verification is blocked at the server level. This separation of duties is what makes the record defensible in a dispute.
Ledger is anchored
Records are submitted to an independent third-party timestamp authority. This creates external proof that the ledger existed in its current state at that time — even SoilVector cannot alter it retroactively.
Export on demand
Generate digitally signed compliance packages that include the full event log, hash chain verification, and operator history. Hand it to a regulator, insurer, or attorney — they can verify everything independently.

What devices does it run on?
SoilVector works on iPhone, Android, and web. The mobile app is designed for field use — large touch targets, minimal typing, glove-friendly.
Do I need internet in the field?
No. Records are stored locally on your device and sync automatically when you're back online. Dead zones, rural areas — nothing is lost.
How is this different from a spreadsheet or paper log?
A spreadsheet can be edited after the fact. SoilVector records are cryptographically chained — altering any past record breaks the chain and the tampering is immediately detectable. An independent timestamp authority provides external proof that records existed at a specific time.
Can I verify my own spray logs?
No. The system enforces separation of duties — the person who recorded an operation cannot verify it. This is blocked at the server level. A manager or auditor must verify applicator logs.
Can my insurer verify the records independently?
Yes. Compliance exports include cryptographic signatures and hash chain proofs. Any third party can verify the integrity of the records without SoilVector access.
What if I cancel my subscription?
You can export all records at any time. After cancellation, your account becomes read-only with exports still available for 30 days.
